Tips for your skiing holidays in Valle Isarco:

The Plose, with the longest downhill ski run of South Tyrol
The Plose, the main mountain of the city of Bressanone, offers a wonderful view of Monte Putia and the Peaks of Odle, and more than 40 km of slopes. Plose impresses skiers with the Trametsch slope, the longest slope in South Tyrol with a length of 9 km, which is a challenge even for experienced skiers. Plose is an insider's tip amongst the ski resorts in South Tyrol, and in the biggest ski carousel in the world, the Dolomiti Superski.

Gardena - the most famous ski area in the Dolomites
The Val Gardena ski resort in South Tyrol is THE prestige ski resort. In addition to the many top athletes from South Tyrol, who undertook their first training here, this ski resort is known worldwide for being the venue of the annual World Cup. The international ski scene meets here for the yearly event.

Ideal for families: Alpe di Siusi
Alpe di Siusi offers more than 60 km of slopes of all levels of difficulty. Hence, fun for young and old. The true strength of the ski area with the vast Alpine pasture is, however, its focus on families. In the 2011/2012 winter season, the ski resort was listed by the automobile club ADAC amongst the three most family-friendly ski resorts in the Alps. It is therefore the perfect destination for ski beginners and families.

The unique ski carousel Sella Ronda
The Sella Ronda ski carousel is unique in its way worldwide. It leads across four Dolomite passes and through 4 different Dolomite ski resorts in South Tyrol, in the Trentino and Belluno (Val Gardena, Val Badia, Arabba and Val di Fassa). The Sella Ronda circular tour can be accessed from each ski resort, and this legendary round tour of the Sella mountain can be skied clockwise or counter-clockwise (orange or green markings). The Sella Ronda features a total of 23 km of slopes in the World Natural Heritage of the Dolomites, and is rather challenging for skiers. Definitely not to be recommended for beginners, but it is always a highlight of a skiing holiday in South Tyrol for advanced skiers. An experience that you will never forget!

The panoramic ski area Corno del Renon
Corno del Renon is known as a unique viewpoint in South Tyrol, and therefore does not only attract hikers, but also skiers and snowshoe hikers. Despite being one of the smaller ski resorts in South Tyrol, Corno del Renon attracts many visitors due to the unique panoramic view of the Dolomites.
